All 29 bodies in the system: one star, eleven worlds around it and seventeen moons, with the figures every one of them is flown against.

Read a row like this. Orbits is the body whose pull holds it. Radius and Gravity are what the map's card shows when you tap that world. Air is the height the atmosphere reaches and the pressure at the surface, or "none" for a world with no air at all, which is most of them. Every figure on this page is the one the game uses, in the units the game prints.

Where you can launch from

Three of the 29 are launch sites, and a world becomes one when you buy the tech node that opens it, not when you land there. Earth's pad is built before your first flight.

Every other world can be orbited, landed on and left again, but never launched from. See the tech tree reference for what each node needs first, and the Launch Pad's levels for what a pad will carry.

What each destination costs to reach

How much you can change your ship's speed over a whole flight is its Δv. These are what a ship leaving Earth's pad needs in total, whatever it is built from. A ship whose total sits under the line for a destination does not get there, however it is flown.

Two things are worth reading off that table. Landing somewhere is dearer than orbiting it, by exactly what it takes to stop at the ground and, if you are coming back, to leave it again. And past the belt the figures stop climbing: everything from Meeseeks Prime outward sits within a thousand metres a second of everything else, because the burn that throws a ship out of Earth's orbit does most of the work whichever way it is aimed. What separates the outer worlds is time and radio reach, not fuel.

You never launch from it and you never land on it. What the Sun is for is the space between worlds: a ship that leaves one planet's sphere of influence falls around the Sun until another world's sphere picks it up. Getting a ship into that state at all pays Interplanetary.

The air is the problem, not the pull. Pressure at the surface is ninety times Earth's and the atmosphere stands more than three times as tall, so a ship sent down is not coming back. Two achievements pay for going anyway: Existence Is Pain for reaching its sphere of influence, and Ninety-Two Atmospheres for a pressure reading deep inside the air.

Thick air low down and the strongest pull of any world you launch from make this the most expensive climb in the game. It is also the only world where a canopy alone brings a ship home. Earth's ground is the most detailed in the system: named ranges, plateaus, valleys, dunes and an ice shelf, several of which are worth landing on for their own achievements.

No air at all, so nothing slows you on the way down: the whole landing is flown on the engine and taken on the legs. The pull is light, so the lander is smaller than the trip makes it sound. Landing pays One Small Step, which is what puts the Lunar Pad node up for sale.

It has air, and not enough of it. Pressure at the surface is under a hundredth of Earth's, so a canopy barely slows a lander and the touchdown is flown on the engine as if there were no air at all. Getting down costs more than the Moon's landing, and getting there costs more again. Landing pays Dust on the Legs, which puts the Mars Pad node up for sale.

Everything about it is small. Its sphere of influence reaches only a short way past its own surface, so a ship is caught and on the ground almost in the same breath, and a burn that would be a nudge anywhere else throws you clear of it altogether.
