Put prices on your station
Charge other players for what they take out of your ship, and pay them for what they bring in, one resource at a time.
Use this on a depot you have parked where fuel is hard to come by. Another player who docks with it pays your price for every unit they pump out, and you pay yours for every unit they pump in. Nothing crosses between two players for free: a resource you leave unpriced cannot be taken from your ship by anyone else, and one with no buy price cannot be brought to it. Your own ships trade with each other at no price, as always.
Before you start
- You are flying the ship, and it has a command part (a pod or a probe core).
- Share resources with other players is on for that command part. With it off, nobody else can reach your tanks at all, priced or not.
Steps
- Tap the command part in flight. Its sheet opens with the ship's name and the identity switches.
- Turn on Share resources with other players if it is off. The sheet opens again with a Resource prices button under the switch, and a line under it saying how many prices are set.
- Tap Resource prices. A table opens with every resource that can carry a price, one row each, and two fields per row: Sells at and Buys at, in credits a unit. Under each resource's name is the highest price it may carry.

Methane sold at 2.5 cr a unit and bought at 1.5; nothing else is traded. - Type the prices into the fields you want, for as many resources as you like. Sells at is what a visitor pays you for each unit they take out; Buys at is what you pay a visitor for each unit they pump in. An empty field reads None: that way is closed to other players. 0 closes it again. Drag the table to reach the resources further down.
- Tap Done. Every price you typed is kept, and stays on the ship until you change it.
What you should see
A visitor's transfer sheet shows your price as soon as they pick one of your stores. When they buy, your credits go up by the price of what they took; when they sell to you, your credits pay for what they brought. If you are flying beside them, a toast names each sale: "Sold 120.0 u of methane for 300 cr".
