In the game, in three taps
Settings → Account → Delete account. The settings screen is behind the person icon at the foot of the parts column in the hangar. The button asks once to be sure — tap it again and the account is gone.
Never signed in? Then there is nothing to delete. A signed-out game keeps its solar system on your own device and has never sent anything to us.
What deletion removes
All of it, in one go, immediately:
- Your account and every sign-in attached to it — email, Google, Apple.
- Your email address and account identifier.
- Your program: credits, discovery, tech unlocked, buildings, achievements and science readings.
- Every vessel you have flying, parked or landed in the shared world, and every ship design you saved to it.
- Your crew — the Meek on your roster, on the recruit board and on the memorial.
- Your contracts, accepted and completed.
There is no grace period and no hidden copy: the record is removed from the world server, not flagged as deleted.
What is left behind
- Anything on your own device. Sandbox worlds, saved designs and settings live on the phone. Uninstalling the app removes those.
- Server request logs, which carry IP addresses and no account details, until they roll off their short window.
- Your Google or Apple account itself. We only ever had the sign-in, never the account — you may also want to remove Orbital Frontier from your Google or Apple account’s connected-apps list.
If you cannot open the app
Lost phone, uninstalled game, cannot sign in — ask us and we will do it by hand.
Write to us
Email [email protected] from the address on the account — the one you signed in with. That is how we know the request is yours.
Say what you want
“Delete my account” in the subject is enough. No forms, no reason required, no attempt to talk you out of it.
We do it and confirm
The record is deleted and we reply to say so, within 30 days and usually within a couple of days.
If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, write from the relay address Apple gave you — it reaches us and it is the address on the account.
Just want to stop playing?
You do not have to delete anything. Uninstall the app and the account sits where it is; sign in again on any device, whenever, and your fleet is still where you left it — further along its orbits, because the world clock never stopped.
